Please join us for the launch of this unique online event organized by Prairie Sangha, a group of Insight Meditation communities in Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan, in partnernship with IMS Online.
Lineage Stories is a a series of *free online events that feature senior Insight Meditation teachers who will speak about the teachers who have influenced them.
The series begins on October 12 with Joseph Goldstein and Sharon Salzberg, co-founders of IMS (Insight Meditation Society). They will share stories about Dipa Ma (1911-1989), Anagarika Munindra (1915-2003), and other beloved teachers.
The two-hour event takes place in the evening from 6:30 pm to 830 pm Central Time.

Sharon Salzberg
Sharon Salzberg is a meditation pioneer, world-renowned teacher, and New York Times bestselling author. She is one of the first to bring mindfulness and lovingkindness meditation to the West over 45 years ago. Sharon is co-founder of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts.
Joseph Goldstein
Joseph Goldstein has been leading insight and lovingkindness meditation retreats worldwide since 1974. He is a cofounder of the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts. In 1989, together with several other teachers and students of insight meditation, he helped establish theBarre Center for Buddhist Studies.
